About me

I have a degree in Medicine (University of Cantabria) and a Specialist in Pediatrics and its Specific Areas (Txagorritxu Hospital, Vitoria-Gasteiz), having also carried out external rotations at the Cruces University Hospital, in Barakaldo and at the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital, in Barcelona.

Life wanted me to receive both the title of pediatrician and mother, since I finished my MIR training the same month my son was born. From that moment on, my vision of pediatrics, and the world in general, changed.

After some time working in various health centers in Vitoria-Gasteiz, with the arrival of my daughter into the world I made the decision to reconcile, and that necessarily involved a radical change at the work level that would also allow it at the family and personal level.

I joined the Pediatrics team at the Vithas San José Hospital (Vitoria-Gasteiz) for four years. I contributed the best of myself in the areas of Childbirth and Maternity Care, Hospitalization, Emergencies and also in the General Pediatric Consultation. There I felt myself growing as a pediatrician and discovered that another way of working was possible.

Finally, in September 2020 I finally decided to open my own practice. Here now I work in my own way: listening, accompanying and dedicating to each family the time they need, without rushing.

Formación específica

Algo que me caracteriza es el deseo constante de seguir aprendiendo. Por ello, siempre tengo alguna formación entre manos (¡y varias en mente!).
